No. 01.128.3 Subject: Household; medical Date or Period: circa 1920s Object: Bottle, medicinal Description: clear glass round bottle with cork stopper and embossed lettering “Murine for your eyes”. Has applied label with a drawing of a woman applying treatment to her eyes, stating ”Murine for your eyes”, Murine Company Inc., Professional Sample", and “Refill For Your Dispensing Bottle”. On the bottom are an embossed F and 8. Appears to still contain some of the original preparation. Size: H: 4” History: item found in a crawlspace of the owner's home in Alameda, located in the East End. Murine was first made around 1900. Acquired From: Anonymous Donor Date: 7/7/01
