Description: Ribbon style owners plaque which supports a silver metal coin with medal attached; embossed Knights of Pythias emblem has an eagle, helmet and shield. The medal is contained in its original case of imitation black-colored leather with purple plush.
History of Object: Knights of Pythias medal, engraved, presented by Alameda Lodge No. 49, January 2, 1891. It was presented to George M. Sutherland, a local druggist.
