Edgar was among those putting in a bid for painting a firehouse in 1902, when at 2048 Webb Ave. He was a son of Thomas and Nancy (nee Edgar) Young, and had 3 brothers, the family moved to Alameda in the 1890s, and resided at 2530 Clement.
Found tucked in a donated (duplicate) Alameda High School yearbook.
