Has hand-hammered effect on handle; also has the initial "H" engraved on it. It is incised with "Shreve & Co. Sterling. Nail file itself is nickel plated. Originally was probably part of a dresser set.
SIZE: 7" in length.
HISTORY OF OBJECT: Nail file used by the ladies of the Haslett family, pioneers of Alameda.
