The figure is hand-painted and glazed, with black hair, beard, and moustache, wearing a yellow robe, purple cloak, pink turban with gold top, and pink shoes. The neckline and container are painted gold. The base is painted dark moss-green. Underside is stamped: 'GERMANY' in black. Size: H 5 1/8 x L 1 7/8 x W 2 inches. History of Object: Figurine of a Wise Man, according to German tradition, one representing middle-age, Asia, and bringing Frankinsense. The figure appears to be representing an Indian or Arabian.
