History of Objects: 1994 Clipping from an unknown newspaper, of a then-now comparison of the Fifth Street Station commercial district, with the Suelflohn building (1915) at 478 Central, the Kaney building (1886, moved here from San Francisco by barge) at 500 Central, which in 1934 housed the Fifth Street Station waiting room, and the 1919 commercial extension of the Kaney building at 504 - 506 Central Ave. 478 held Wilmot's Books, second hand book store, at least from 2007, until 2017.
