Description: Half cape of black velvet heavily trimmed with black sequins and jet beads and ribbon ruffle of chiffon. Interior relined in gold silk brocade. Original label stating "The White House-San Francisco."
History of Object: Half cape of Elizabeth, wife of Peter White (founder White Lumber Company). They had a mansion in the 2200 block of Santa Clara Avenue, now demolished.
