Description: A four-wheeled tea cart with a removable glazed tray. The body of the cart has semi-circular attached leaves and a handle grip that can be lowered. Four lathe-turned legs are attached to the cart and they rest on a lower shelf for storage. Two different sized wheels with black-colored rubber treads are used to propel the cart to various locations. The front two wheels are the larger of the four and they have lathe-turned spokes.
Size: H-31 x D--17 x W-27 inches.
History of Object: A tea cart made in Grand Rapids, MI, constructed of mahogany that has been bleached and treated to harmonize with the woodwork in the dining room of the Meyers House.
