These documents reflect: A. #160: canceling delinquent sales relating to opening of Encinal Ave (1926); # 161: plans for replacing bridges and opening/closing of same. 1926-1932. B. opening of Blanding (#162, 1926); street work on Clay Street (#163, 1926); street work on Madison (#165, 1926). C. request with blueprint by the Alameda Belt Line to construct a spur track on Clement Street (#166, 1926). D. #167, 1926-1931: adding of Water mains for fire protection by EBMUD to various streets. 167-4 includes a map, c. 1931. Also includes 1932 letter regarding notary public inside City Hall, by Neil B. Pierson, City Manager. Until 1930 C. H. Hickok was City Manager, W.E. Varcoe was City Clerk. Also includes Powel Bros Inc., 2008 Pearl Street, letterhead (#168-50). E. #169: garbage collecting (‘scavenging’), contracted to Alameda Scavenger Co. Includes memoires by L.
