Account book with cover of blue faux-leather, with embossed gold caption ‘Local Treasurer’, and in the right bottom corner a small faintly gold-colored escutcheon of a tree, encircled with the legend ‘National Congress of Parents and Teachers, 1897’, and the legend ‘California Congress of Parents and Teachers’. Inside is stamped ‘Longfellow P.T.A.’ First entry is from 1955, last entry from 1960. Every few pages an entry is made by an auditor, e.g. by Arthur Leydecker at the end of 1955.
