This folder contains papers relating to the operation of the Electric Light Plant. Specifically: 1877 Letter with a question regarding depth to be used for gas pipes; a 1985 and an undated offer of installation services; 1900 suggestions by resident Mr. Reeve, 2129 Clinton; 1899 Handwritten Earnings and Operating Expenses report, signed by G. A. Wiese, City Electrician; 1901 documents relating to bookkeeping troubles, including Jan-Oct financial statements, the Oct 21 Resignation by bookkeeper D. Greenleaf, and audit reviews; a 1901 resolution to cut off power to delinquent customers; 1901 Insurance policy; 1907 contract with Couchot & Thurston to construct a power house, as designed by Benj.
