History of Object: Diploma of Benjamin Harding Ames Jr., graduate of Lincoln School, June 4th, 1915. The Ames family came to Alameda following the earthquake & fire of 1906. Mr. Ames was born in San Francisco in 1900 and died in the Alameda Hospital in 1982.
