History of Object: A photo of the interior of an Alameda Pharmacy (not Prosser), c. 1898. The great-grandfather of the donor, druggist William Hugh Norman is the man in the center of the picture. The family lived only for a short time in Alameda, where the donor's grandmother, Marie Norman, was born in 1901.
