Util.) February 15, 1937'. Two documents are mounted to the folder with a metal clip. A (stapled) is titled: Supplemental Statement B (in leather-look, heavy paper stock folder), is titled: Report titled Transportation Committee Alameda California; Submitted to Council February 15, 1937. Size folder: L 14 3/4" X W 9" History of Object: Folder found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s. The documents reflect A. need for an additional crossing of the San Antonio Estuary, to connect to the Cypress Street access to the Bay Bridge, with 1937 resolution from the Rotary Club, and arguments between preference for a bridge vs. additional tube; B. 1937 Opinion from the City Manager arguing against Webster Street as the location for a future additional bridge crossing the San Antonio Estuary.
