Description: Yellow silk georgette step-in camisole with butterfly stenciled and hand-painted at left front hem. Ribbon straps. Yellow net edging along the neckline. Pintucks at front extend to hip level. Pleats at the sides snap shut as closure. Accompanied with a matching square fabric swatch with floral stenciled print on one side and a butterfly on the other.
History of Object: Underclothes found among the effects of Wenonah Martin. It was possibly part of her trousseau.
