Description:
Jack-in-box in the form of a baby bottle with nipple section with metal catch. When clasp is released the nipple top on a hinge exposes doll head with hand painted plaster head. Bonnet is of blue material trimmed with lace.
On front it has graduated numbers of contents (imaginary).
Size: 7½" tall, 3" across bottom.
History Of Object: The bottle was (jack-in-box) on the first Christmas tree in 1906 of Eleanor Clark, daughter of Herbert D. and Emma Clark. The Clark family was a pioneer family in early Alameda.
