Description: Interlocking, rectangular shaped, box like basket of woven wicker, straw colored. Possibly of Chinese origin? These baskets, tied with leather straps, were sometimes used as suitcases for traveling, as well as household storage.
Size : L-21 x W-12 X H-10 inches.
History of Object:
Basket from the Neil & Maude Macdonald residence, 2066 San Jose Avenue. They were old-time residents of the city.
