Sender stamp: Bureau of Identification, Police Department. Contents, large folding map of Oakland Metropolitan Area (distributed by the Oakland C.o.C.), with dots in blue, red, and yellow and pinpricks in or near the same spots; a legend card stating ‘See photograph, Location of Families Moving from Estuary Project from 11/1/64 to 6/30/64,’ with pinpricks for Military Families, Civilian Families Renting, and Civilian Families Buying. Also enclosed are a photo negative and two prints of a photo of this map with pins; the photos have been marked up with red and blue markers.

History of Object:
Map detailing the spread of families that have moved out of the Estuary project in a period in 1964; the period appears illogical; perhaps 11/1/63 was meant or 1/11/64. The buying civilian families and most of the renting families appear to have moved out of Alameda; the military families stay.
