History:
Letter addressed to D.J. Sullivan, Secretary, Board of Education, dated May 23, 1898 concerning a meeting of the primary section of teachers for the year ending June 30, 1898. The meeting concerned the curriculum and the textbooks implemented in language arts, English, etc.
This collection of documents was given to the Alameda Historical Society in 1960 and never catalogued. They were donated by the then Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Donald Roderick.
