No.81.267.6 Subject Category: Businesses, Dairy Date or Period: Circa 1920 Object: Bottle, milk Description: Half pint milk bottle, raised lettering in circular-like label stating "Jersey Creamery Co., Heath & Anderson, 1413 Park St., Alameda". The glass has turned a lavender shade. Bottle has a protruding lip with recessed ledge for supporting paper top. Size: 5½" tall, and base 2½" across. History of Object: Bottle found in old dump near Bay Farm Island Bridge. The glass has a cloudy film from being exposed to salt water. Excavated by donors. Acquired from: Weigel family Date: Aug 25, 1981
