On the back of the jacket are wool applique block letters stating "Alameda, California." Size: 8 History of Object: Original uniform worn by Jessie Leslie (now Mrs. Jessie L. Sandholdt), a member of the noted ladies softball team of Alameda. Winners of the world championship of 1938-39. Their trophy is displayed in the museum. Acquired from: Jessie L. Sandholdt through Mrs. Doris Pyne (nee Barskey), also a member of the team. Date: 2-9-1988
