Description: Softball uniform of blue & gold colored sateen, consisting of pants (knickers), blouse (wool patch with blue embroidery stating "California State Champions 1937-38-39), & jacket (with wool patch stating "Champions of the World 1938-39").
On the back of the jacket are wool applique block letters stating "Alameda, California."

Original uniform worn by Jessie Leslie (now Mrs. Jessie L. Sandholdt), a member of the noted ladies softball team of Alameda. Winners of the world championship of 1938-39.
Their trophy is displayed in the museum.

also a member of the team.
