Red colored glass beaded fringe attached to shade rim. Cast pot metal base. No manufacturer's signature, patent date, etc. Size: H-19 1/2 inches. History of Object: Table lamp from the Levy family, old-time residents of Alameda. They lived at 1738 Central Avenue. The lamp was found in the basement of their home in 1947 when it was purchased by Neil & Jeanne Clark. The house was owned by Emmanuel H. & Frances Levy from the early 1920's (until their deaths), when it was subsequently sold by their daughter to the Clarks. Mr. Levy ran a Park Street men's clothing store and also acted as the City Historian. Acquired from: Neil & Jean Clark Date: 2-26-87
