History: Photocopies of petitions made by Josephine Anderson for a widow's pension from the Department of the Navy. Her husband, George Anderson, had served in the Civil War. The Anderson's were pioneers of Bay Farm Island. Given to the Museum prior to 1971 and never catalogued.
