Oblong shaped, white linen towel, with silk embroidery in blue and white thread of the initials M. F. Both ends of the towel have a border of drawn work.
Size: L - 50 x W - 30 inches.
History of Object: Linen towel hand embroidered by Battistina Musso for her wedding trousseau, married in Italy 1892. She came to Alameda in 1920 to join her children George, Frank and Mary who had come from Italy in 1915. She lived in the East end till her death in 1983. She was the late Grandmother of the donor.
