History of Object: Baby dress worn by one of the children of Samuel Montgomery & Harriet Holmes Haslett, old-time residents of Alameda. The children, Samuel M, Haslett, Jr., born 1889, Roberta, born 1890, and Doris, born 1895, were raised in the family residence at 1605 Clinton Avenue. All three
children were born in Alameda.
