Front of cabinet divided into two units, each with double doors, when opened reveals speaker (right) and record storage (left). Entire top of cabinet consists of hinged lid. Interior has green felt covered turntable and nickel plated arm and speaker head. Interior lid has original transfer seal stating "Victor Talking Machine Co., Camden, N.Y. U.S.A." Another transfer seal states "M. Franck and Son, Alameda, CA. Music Store". Size: L - 20 x W - 28 X H - 33 inches. History of Object: Victrola was purchased from Franck and Son Music Shop, Park St., Alameda, (a family operated business for approx: 60 years) in the late 1920's by the Hiller family. Mr. & Mrs. Hiller lived at 830 Santa Clara Ave., Alameda. The property was subsequently purchased for the expansion of Washington School. Acquired from: J.
