Acc. No. 84.17.1 Subject Category: Businesses, Pharmacy Date or period: Circa-1930 Object: Box, delivery Description: Luggage type box, which appears to made from treated heavy laminated cardboard. It is held together at its joints by metal rivets. A strip of leather acts as a hinge for the lid. The lid is secured by a metal luggage fastener. On the front of the box, painted in white script is "Miller's Drug Store," and on both ends "La 2-4020." Size: W-14 X H-10 1/2 X D-8 inches. History of Object: Delivery boy's bicycle box (for delivering items purchased over the phone ) from Miller's Drug Store, Southeast corner Santa Clara Avenue and Park Street.
