Description:
(A) White satin full length wedding gown with train. High waisted with soft gathered insert in upper bodice. Square neck lace trim with bow of seed pearls in ecru and white. Gown secured in back by row of self covered buttons of white satin from neck to waistline. Long sleeves, slightly gathered at shoulder, and tapering to a point at wrist with a snap fastener.
No dressmaker label. Size: Approx: 12 or 14 (Standard dress sizing for the 1940's)
(B) Bridal tiara or crown appears to be a miniature version of a Russian bridal crown.
Completely accentuated with seed pearls in a decorative design. Attached to it is the full length original bridal veil of netting trimmed in lace.
(C) Original box of light tan colored medium grade cardboard. Box top has a printed caption in blue colored type stating Hastings, Oakland, 1530 Broadway.
Size: L-13 3/4 W-23 3/4 inches.
(D) Photograph of black and white matte finish- unsigned, of the bride Jessie Huguley and her father.

Jessie Hartley Huguley - 522-5255. Married: September 7, 1941 at Presbyterian church, Alameda. Honeymoon: Catalina Island, CA. Brides maiden name: Jessie Hartley. Husband: Kirby Huguley.

Photograph of the donor, Jessie Huguley, on the arm of her father. Frank W. Hartley taken during the bridal procession at the Presbyterian Church September 7, 1941. Frank Hartley was a member of the volunteer Alameda Fire Department before 1905. The family being old-time residents of the City.
