Description: Acid free legal size manila file folder with documents, held together with a metal clip at the top, excepting a flyer labeled ‘Daily Special Exposition Train Service’, ‘Key System’, and 3 cards, marked ‘General Election’. Within the bundle are original tabs, hand-labeled in black ink: ‘"Alameda County Day” G.G. Int. Exposition’, ‘“Alamed Day” G.G. Int. Exp.” (note missing ‘a’ in ‘Alamed’), and “Finance Committee G.G. Int. Exp.”

History of Object:
Documents found in City Hall attic during remodel in the 1990s, placed in a new folder after donation to the museum in 2011. Inside are documents pertaining to the various subjects labeled, as well as pertaining to School Safety Patrol Day plans, and Mayor Schwanenberg requesting the Naval Base under development is reflected on maps on display. Signs - Horwinski printed material for Neptune Beach. Alameda Day at GGIE was may 26 1939 - not to be confused with Alameda County Day. The 3 election day notices (2 different polling addresses) appear to have been used as note paper.
