History: Minutes of Meetings of Branch number 3 of the Catholic Ladies Aid Society, (C.L.A.S.), held in St. Joseph's Hall, from the 922nd meeting on April 20, 1914, recorded May 7, 1914, by Kate Jollymour, Recording Secretary, to 1011th meeting, June 8, 1916. Minutes record reported visits to sick, unemployed, or needy community members by the Ladies of the Society, and describe interactions with health care practitioners, community leaders and city officials of the time. Kate Jollymour was a bookkeeper. Her sister Elizabeth (Bessie) Jollymour also makes appearances - she was operating a grocery at 1300 High street. Mrs. Thomas was president in 1914; possibly she donated a book she had had in her possession for the minutes.
