Description: A circular-shaped shallow silver plated bread tray. The bottom has an engraving, "Alameda Dahlia Society Trophy 1934 won by Harold I. Johnson." This engraved caption is surrounded by engraved neoclassical designs of flowers and leaves. The underside bottom is signed, "Homan Plate" on nickel silver, and "Made in USA, Serial #04085".

History of Object: A trophy awarded to a member of the Alameda Dahlia Society in 1934. During the 1920's and 1930's Alameda was referred to as the "Dahlia City".
