The record was among the effects of Major Tilden, and turned over to Judge Spence by Miss Marian Mitchell, who lived in the Tilden home on San Antonio Ave, and letter by Judge Spence dated January 25, 1961, describing the object. According to the letter, the recording is not of high quality, and contains the voices of Governor C. C. Young, the Hon. Joseph R. Knowland, and Judge Spence.
