No. 14.77.32 Subject Category: Furniture Date or Period: 1890's Object: Chair, gentlemen's Description: An American-made Victorian armchair, the back of which has applied machine carving and open fret work of scroll-sawn wood. This wood appears to be birch or maple with a cherry stained finish. Its seat and back are upholstered with a contemporary fabric having a design of bouquets of red roses and garlands on an off-white background. The front and back wheels are supported by their original casters. Size: H-40 x D-23 x W-23 in.
