Object: Scrapbook made for Otto Rittler to commemorate a dinner held in his honor.
Description: A scrapbook with brown plastic covers; front cover has caption Otto C. Rittler Day, October 12, 1963, written in light brown script; the date appears on an unfurled banner, and the design includes a star and a pen. Glued on the first page is the program for a testimonial dinner, honoring Otto C, Rittler, held at the Hotel Alameda Ball Room, Saturday, October 12, 1963. Next 14 pages consist of signatures of those who were present at the dinner. Next 10 pages have newspaper clippings concerning the testimonial dinner glued in. A park site was dedicated to Rittler on that day at 1 p.m. and the dinner was planned by city officials as the evening event. AAHMES Shrine patrol and band escorted city dignitaries to dedication site. Sheets of scrapbook are imitation parchment.
