History of Object:
Papers documenting demolition; removal of electroliers after closure of Jay Street on behalf of the Alaska Packers Association - and installation of sewer in same area; (1927); letter on EBMUD stationery, stating the water storage tank on the roof of the Park Street building can be removed (1929); a possibly mis-filed receipt from A. Feldhammer, 1004 Park, for printing for the Municipal Electric Light Plant/Public Utilities (1929); 1952 Oakland Tribune clipping about dismantling of the Clark Pottery site.
Documents were found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s in an old folder, which was discarded in 2011 upon donation to the museum.
