Description: Ruby flashed cream pitcher with base and handle in clear glass. The base has an inverted thumbprint design, upper 1¼ inches of the pitcher is in ruby with etched engraving stating "Mary Anderson, Mid Winter Fair, 1894".
Size: 3 inches high, 2 inches across opening, 2 inches across base.
History of Object: Souvenir pitcher from the S. F. Mid Winter Fair, 1894, and owned by Mary Anderson, ward of the P. A. McDonell's who raised her on Bay Farm Island from the age of 13.
She married their nephew Edward R. McDonell, in 1900.
