Description: Oblong-shaped box covered in imitation dark colored leather. Interior upper lid has blue colored satin lining with the caption "G. Tiemann & Company". The receptacle section of box has a partitioned cove in red colored velvet. Interior also contains hand-written paper label in sepia colored ink. Instrument belonged to Dr. Baldwin.

Box or case that originally held a hypodermic syringe and needle owned by Dr. Sherman C. Baldwin, physician and surgeon. It was found in his home at 1125 Morton Street, erected in 1889.
