History:
Letter written by Superintendent of Schools Gibbons of the Board of Education to the Board of Trustees concerning disciplinary conditions at the Encinal School (which would later become Mastick). This collection of documents was given to the Alameda Historical Society in 1960 and never catalogued. They were donated by the then Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Donald Roderick.
