Size print-out: L 11 x W 8 1/2"
History of Object: Postcard of a High Basement Cottage built in 1893 on Grand Street, attributed to the firm of Marcuse & Remmel. William Pullson, his wife Antoinette and their son William lived at 1925 Grand in 1910. He was a sailor in the dredging industry. They were from Norway. The building was moved to 2022 Clement Avenue in 1925, to make place for the Alameda Belt Line railroad.
Translation of the legible part of the message is: "My Caroline, What I sent was a little too small...' The original object was for sale on the internet and captured by the donor, hence the low quality.
