The iron has wooden handles that are used to open the waffle iron. Both sides of the iron have the incised caption, "Wagner Sidney Ohio Patent, Feb. 22, 1910". Size: H-1 1/2” x W-7 1/2” History of Object: A toy or salesman's sample of an early-type cast iron waffle that was heated on a stove. It was owned by Herlinda Silver who later had a business at 920 Central Avenue, next door to Hoffman's Bakery. The donor states that the waffle iron was a salesman's sample. Acquired from: Blanca H.
