Book shows evidence of past water damage. Cover shows some dark stains, possibly ink, and some pages toward the rear are quite smudged.

History of Object: book about artist Percy Gray, (full name Henry Percy Gray) written by Donald C. Whitton, grand-nephew of the artist, and Robert E. Johnson. Eastwind Printers, San Francisco, 1970. No ISBN. Percy Gray resided with his parents at 1417 St. Charles, Alameda between 1906 and 1910 (p. 59). Photos of family in Alameda are on p 26 ('3 generations of Grays', on the steps) and p 38 (a photo of poet Louise Gray, sister of the artist).
The book was found among other uncataloged items in the museum warehouse.
