History of Object: book about artist Percy Gray, (full name Henry Percy Gray) written by Donald C. Whitton, grand-nephew of the artist, and Robert E. Johnson. Eastwind Printers, San Francisco, 1970. No ISBN. Percy Gray resided with his parents at 1417 St. Charles, Alameda between 1906 and 1910 (p. 59). Photos of family in Alameda are on p 26 ('3 generations of Grays', on the steps) and p 38 (a photo of poet Louise Gray, sister of the artist).
