The back consists of a slightly bowed crest rail and slat attached to a lathe-turned support. It has a plank seat with a rolled front. The chair legs and rungs are secured with wire. Size: H-32” x D-14 1/2” History of Object: A crude utilitarian kitchen chair that appears to originally have had a varnished finish and which was later painted. It was found in the basement of Meyers House. Acquired from: Meyers estate Date: 01/02/2014
