Acc. #99.589.1 Category: Citizens of alameda Date: 1920 Object: Resolution Description: Four (4) page resolution typewritten (original copy) accompanied by an original typewritten document (Three (3) pages) signed by the author. Two (2) individual documents include a sepia colored photograph and contained in a coverlet. Coverlet has a design resembling crushed ice in green colored type with matching tape binding. Size: L 12 W 9 1/4 inches. History: Resolution adopted by the Superintendent and Principals of Alameda City Schools concerning the death of W.H. Noy who had served as the Mayor of the City of alameda. Also included is a Resolution (#309) signed by the City Clerk of the City of Alameda concerning the death of Mr. Noy. The final document was composed by Mr. Noy when he was the Mayor of the City of Alameda projecting the fact that he felt the population of the City would be 50,000 by 1937and reasons why.
