Illustrated ad with bold-printed caption, "Paint Your Car Today Use It Tomorrow with Kwickwork auto enamels" in green, black, and yellow color type. Condition good except for some tearing along the folds. Size: L-34” x W-24” History of Object: Sign found in the carriage house of 2109 Encinal Avenue, the former home of Horton D. ("Sticky") Maynard, a travelling paint agent. Acquired from: Daniel Klinkenberg, Date: 3/3/07 or 3/10/07

1/30/2021 MvL: current sign: ADVERTISING POSTER PROMOTING "DO-IT-YOURSELF" AUTOMOBILE PAINT This poster was found in the garage of a residence in the 2100 block of Encinal Avenue. The original owner was a traveling salesman for a paint company, circa 1920's.
