Description: Booklet, stapled underneath off-white buckram spine, with cover of off-white card stock. Title printed in pale blue type: Annual Report / Police Department, with an image of a shield-shaped patch, stating Alameda Police, and an embroidered version of the circular City Seal within a 7-pointed star. The booklet has a sticker stating 'Alameda Collection' and on back, a crossed-through bar code from the Alameda Free Library. Also has been stamped, and labeled in pencil. First page has stamp in red with 'Withdrawn'.

History of Object: Alameda City Police Department Annual Report for the 1965 calendar year. Prepared by City Manager, H. D. Weller, and Chief of Police, William A. Tulloh. Report includes information about crimes, staffing and services, and other police matters. In the introduction is mentioned that a number of officers attended the Oakland Police Academy.
