History of Object: Report of a workshop sponsored by the League of Women Voters and by, and at the College of Alameda, in 1976. The report includes transcripts of presentations, including history from their various points of view, written for the workshop, by Elaine Costello, Alameda City Planner at the time; Richard O. Clark, consultant to Doric Development, Inc.; John Goss, Alameda City Manager, and others. The participants were split into 5 groups, which further included Mayor Chuck Corica, Anne Diament (city council member, later first female mayor), and Don Perata, Mark Hanna, Adeline Cox, community members and/or city staff.
