Size: L 10 3/4” X W 8” History: Alameda High School “Acorn” Yearbook for 1948, owned by Bob O’Hare. Rear portion of book has ads for local businesses. Robert Frederick O'Hare was born in San Francisco. His family moved to Alameda sometime after 1940. After College in Oakland and military service in Korea, he moved to New York and worked in fashion, before moving back to California, and eventually teaching Apparel Design at the College of Alameda. This collection of yearbooks belonged to Bob O’Hare, were donated to the Berkeley Public Library, and were in their workroom for several years. Added to the collection as a second copy.
