Size (closed): L 4” x W 7” History of Object: Medical kit likely previously owned by Frederic William Nachbar, who served in the Spanish-American War, with tools supplied to the military by the FARNY company - Ferdinand Alfred Reichardt - New York - who designed and patented surgical equipment in the late 19th and early 20th century (Reichardt died 1913).
