History:
Receipt for payment of the Alameda School District School House Tax. The revenue was created by a tax on property which is described on the form. The property in question was owned by the pioneer physician, Dr. Lambert, and located on Fountain Street between Encinal and Jackson Streets, northwest corner of High and Encinal, northwest corner of Encinal and Fountain Street and the southeast corner of High and Madison. This item was given to the Alameda Historical Society in 1959 and never catalogued.
