Embossed neoclassical motif of garlands, beading, etc. Size: opening diameter 14" x H 8". History of Object: Bowl type lamp shade, missing collar and chain, and light fixture, removed from 2209 Encinal Ave., built for Carl and Mae Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson were married in San Francisco in 1908 and had their home, which was a stucco bungalow, built on the present site of the Alameda High School.
